In April 2004, I attended the Pittsburgh Comic Con http://www.pittsburghcomicon.com/ for the second time. I was in a place in my life where I felt that despite my best attempt, my artwork had failed. I was looking to either find a new direction or just butt out alltogether. I found myself getting into a side conversation with some guy while
I was trying to impress another artist for some work. Aperently I had impressed this guy because he came over to the table that I had gypsied in Artist Alley and introduced himself as Pat Carlucci.
